I am presently a first-year Concurrent Education student at Queen's University. I am Majoring in Fine Art with a medial in History and English. Prior to this, I graduated from Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute with honors in 2011.
Experience
I have previously worked as a Sunday School teaching assistant from 2015 to 2016 and have since been working as a volunteer with the Breakfast Club of Canada at St. James in Smiths Falls for the last 2 years. I have attended many workshops on the topic of education through Queen's University. I would like to provide private tutoring sessions because I want to be able to help students that are struggling. I myself had an IEP through elementary and high school and I know what it is like to struggle as a student. If I can make that journey a little easier and even more enjoyable for any student, I would consider my time well spent.
